Erin Stemper graduated from Ithaca College in 2003 with a Master of Science in physical therapy. She is certified by the McKenzie Institute in Mechanical Diagnosis and Treatment of the Spine. Erin’s interests include treating the spine using the McKenzie Method, shoulder and knee injuries, vestibular problems, and running and swimming injuries. Erin grew up in central New York but moved to the Capital Region with her husband in 2006. Erin treats patients at Community Care Physical Therapy in Latham, NY.
As an athlete growing up (She was a competitive swimmer from age 7 through college!), Erin was always interested in how the body moves. During high school, she considered pursuing a career in medicine and ultimately decided to become a physical therapist after shadowing her neighbor, who was a physical therapist. What Erin loves most about her job is connecting with patients, seeing them improve, and returning to doing the things they love with less pain.
Outside work, Erin enjoys spending time with her husband and two children, hiking, sporting events, and reading.
